Aaron Schalk is the Firm’s Chief Financial Officer and Senior Accounting Consultant. Aaron provides support to the firm’s leadership team through financial reporting, planning, and forecasting to achieve management’s internal financial goals and objectives. He also provides support to the Native American Services Division, assisting in specific planning and accounting controls and procedures, including indirect cost proposals for tribal governments.

Aaron has over 20 years of experience in accounting. Prior to joining Ulrich, Aaron spent eight years at a CPA firm in Albuquerque where he prepared tax returns for individuals and small businesses, expanded his knowledge of business accounting and had the opportunity to work on field audits. He then established an accounting consultancy firm, primarily focused on advising small businesses with their internal accounting, accounting infrastructure and client education.

Aaron holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of New Mexico.
