Brian York is a Senior Accounting Consultant in the Native American Consulting division, where he focuses on supporting tribal governments with accounting and fiscal management services. He assists clients with financial planning, policy review and updates, implementation of compliant accounting procedures, staff training, and development of indirect cost proposals, among other key initiatives. 

Brian brings more than half a decade of executive-level nonprofit experience, having served as both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for grant funded organizations supported by state, local, federal, and private funding sources. In these roles, he oversaw financial management, regulatory compliance, and organizational operations, helping mission-driven entities strengthen their financial infrastructure and long-term sustainability. 

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a Master’s in Professional Accounting from Seattle University. 

Brian lives in Portland, Oregon with his two Klee Kais, Stormy and Lumanita. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the local coffee scene, writing, and embracing the Pacific Northwest weather.
